On Friday, May 9, at 6 PM, the historic Toledo Club will transform into a stage for a progressive gala that takes guests on a journey through three iconic opera-loving cultures – Italy, France, and America.
The evening begins in the Red Room, where Italian-inspired cocktails and hors d’oeuvres set the stage for a warm and vibrant welcome. As guests mingle, the room will come alive with the sounds of Italy, evoking the romance and passion of Italian opera.
Next, the celebration moves to the Dining Room, where an elegant French dinner awaits. Guests will be transported to the salons of Paris, accompanied by the melodies of French composers that have shaped opera and classical music for centuries.
Finally, the Centennial Room will provide a sweet finale, featuring indulgent American desserts. As guests savor each bite, a soundtrack of beloved American music will offer the perfect conclusion to a spectacular evening.
Throughout the night, Toledo Opera’s Resident Artists will take center stage, filling the rooms with extraordinary performances, while Toledo Opera’s Artistic Director, Kevin Bylsma, serves as the evening’s master of ceremonies. All proceeds from this special event will support Toledo Opera, helping to bring world-class opera to our community.
