2025 This is Alabama Women Who Shape the State

This is Alabama is recognizing and celebrating the 12th annual class of Women Who Shape the State. This year's event, presented by Inline Lighting, will honor 25 of the most powerful women in Alabama who are making a difference in their own unique ways.

The program at Birmingham’s The Club will feature music by Nordic Fire and Encore Strings Birmingham, a keynote address by Allie B. Gorrie, and a video featuring the honorees. Honorees and guests will be treated to a 3-course luncheon followed by a program hosted by AL.com’s Ivana Hyrnkiw.

Menu/Dietary Restrictions:

This year’s main course will be Honey Pecan Fried Chicken with roasted sweet potatoes, green beans, warm honey drizzle, toasted pecans and fried rosemary. We will also have a vegetarian and gluten free option. This option will include gluten free Sweet Potato Lasagna with zucchini, squash, and onions layered with fresh mozzarella cheese, served with arugula puree and tomato chutney.
