Taupō Disc Golf are excited to announce details for the 2025 Taupō Classic, coming back bigger and better than last year! This three-day event is proud to be a key part of the Tour Down Under again. It will be sanctioned by both the PDGA (this year up to an A-Tier for both Pros and Ams) and NZDG (50 pointer). The pro divisions will be playing for an estimated $10,000 purse.Taking place at the world class and upgraded Spa Park (ranked #61 in the world), this 54-hole tournament is initially limited to 120 competitors and will feature the most challenging layout we have presented to date. This is our club's premier annual event, and we are expecting top level professionals from overseas and across New Zealand to compete. Accordingly, the registration schedule will be structured using ratings-based tiers, to allow us to accommodate the strongest possible field.
