About this Event
USA Swimming and Sigma Gamma Sorority Inc. are partnering together to increase swim participation and decrease drowning in the minority communities across the country. As part of this national initiative, Zeta Tau Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Mount Rose (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and Good Health Wins are hosting a Swim1922 Water & Swim Safety Clinic for the entire family on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in collaboration with the Bowie State University Aquatics Center in Bowie, MD. This is a FREE event for children and youth ages 6-17 as well as adults in good physical health. Parents must remain with their children throughout the program. The day will include both classroom instruction on water safety and in-pool lessons. A light lunch will be provided.
