About this Event
The new year brings a sense of hope as we envision our goals and dreams for the year ahead. New Year's resolutions, goal and intention setting, and vision boards have become an important part of the new year transition for many. We experience this same optimism as each new year dawns, but then, inexplicably, the shine seems to wear off just a few short weeks later and we relinquish the pursuit of our goals and dreams to an afterthought. Why? Again? Oh well...
This workshop will help you break that cycle - providing insight into how your mind works and shedding light on why it can be so challenging to turn our goals and dreams into reality.
Opening with a guided deep meditation to uncover hidden issues that have been holding you back from your true potential (and help clarify why they may still be lingering) we will release our limiting beliefs - some of which we may have carried since childhood.
Then, our work will focus on creating room in our hearts and minds so that we can begin to embrace who we are while understanding what it is we truly want - and clarifying the choices we are ready to make for ourselves - knowing we deserve what we desire.
We'll dive into the word "intention" as you design and create an acrostic (a piece of writing in which a particular set of letters—typically the first letter of each line, word, or paragraph—spells out a word or phrase) that you will take home to embody your workshop journey and help you embody your goals as you move through everyday life.
Finally, we will be planting our goals as seeds in the soil - to see our individual visions come to life over the next few weeks - nurturing those dreams until we come together again for the next workshop in this three-part series.
Embodying our goals is a lot like gardening. You select what you wish to plant, prepare the soil, and then tend to the garden with patience and love - knowing that your effort will manifest into whatever it was you chose to plant.
