Hosted by the town of Danbury! Theme: Christmas in September
Please join us on Saturday, September 13th in downtown Danbury, NC for the annual Stokes Stomp Parade. This parade celebrates our community with floats from community groups, fire trucks, classic cars and much more!
The parade will begin at 10 AM. Main Street (Hwy 8&89) will be closed for the duration of the parade. The parade will start at the Government Center and end at Sheppard Mill Rd/Moratock Park.
Join us after at the 51st Stokes Stomp. This year is a bit different. The location has moved because of bridge construction. The Stokes Stomp will be held in the center of Danbury around The Arts Place and the Board of Education building (Old Courthouse).
