Dr. Manfred Keil, Chief Economist, Inland Empire Economic Partnership
Dr. Manfred Keil received his M.S. and Ph.D. from the London School of Economics. After university appointments in Montreal and Boston, he moved to Southern California in 1995 and joined the faculty at the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance (then the Department of Economics) at Claremont McKenna College. He lives in Upland and is currently the Associate Director of the Lowe Institute of Political Economy. Dr. Keil lectures in Statistics, Econometrics, and Macroeconomics. He specializes in economic forecasting for geographical areas. In 2009, the Lowe Institute started to hold annual economic analysis/forecasting conferences in the Inland Empire, first jointly with UCLA’s Anderson School Forecast at Citizen’s Bank Arena and lately at Robert Pavilion at Claremont McKenna College. For the last five years, he has also produced the annual report for the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership.
