Join us for the 4th Annual State of Downtown & Awards Breakfast: Downtown Love Story
Join business and community leaders, elected officials, and urban champions as we celebrate the many reasons we love downtown Spokane at the 4th Annual State of Downtown & Awards Breakfast. This year’s theme, “Downtown Love Story,” highlights the passion, dedication, and creativity that make our city’s core a thriving, connected community.
Keynote speaker, Peter Kageyama, is an internationally recognized author and expert on community development and civic engagement. Through his books, For the Love of Cities and Love Where You Live, Kageyama explores the emotional connections people have with their cities and how small, passionate initiatives drive urban revitalization. His inspiring presentation will encourage us all to think about how we can continue building a more lovable and vibrant Spokane.
The event will also feature the State of Downtown presentation, offering insights into Spokane’s urban core, and a special 2025 Downtown Awards ceremony, recognizing recipients of the 2025 Legacy and Impact Awards.
