OFLTA has reviewed feedback from conference evaluations and is offering professional development based on what YOU want to learn.
There will be 3 workshops offered in the morning, and 3 workshops offered in the afternoon. You can pick which a.m. and p.m. workshop you want to attend! Past evaluations have indicated that attendees want in-depth PD with more time to collaborate and to work on specific needs. We took the top 6 requests and have built the Spring Conference around those requests.
Workshop Titles:
- Classroom Management (offered a.m. and p.m.)
- Motivation and Engagement
- Using the Target Language to Drive Instruction
- Assessment
- Lesson Planning
You don't have to select today! A week before the conference, attendees will be asked to select the a.m. and p.m. workshops they want to attend.

This conference is like no other OFLTA has offered, so we have a deal for you! If you are a current member of OFLTA, bring a NON-Member (who has paid for the conference) with you and you will be in a drawing for a FREE 2025 Fall Conference Registration! This is a savings of $90!

OFLTA is also trying out something new with conference pricing and catering! We are offering a lowered pricing structure:
- $40 for Members & Lifetime Members
- $75 for Non-Members
- $25 World Language/University students Non-Members
- FREE World Language/University students who have already paid OFLTA Membership
- FREE 1st year teachers

The flow of the day will also look a little different. Here is what you can expect:
- Light breakfast/coffee service before the conference
- Awards, Recognitions, Installation of NEW Vice-President, and Business Meeting at the beginning of the conference
- AM break out workshops
- Lunch on your own - we have scouted some YUMMY low cost places close to TU, or bring your lunch and chat with colleagues at the venue.
- PM break out workshops
- Closing remarks, raffle, and 2025 Fall Conference giveaway
