REGISTRATION HERE: https://www.saltlaketriclub.com/product/2025-st-george-tri-camp/The Salt Lake Triathlon Club is thrilled to invite all its members to the 2025 St. George Ironman 70.3 Training Weekend, scheduled in St. George, Utah, from April 11 to April 12, 2025. This unique training opportunity will feature guidance from professional and elite triathletes, USAT-certified coaches, and seasoned sports professionals.
Participants will train on the same terrain as the 2025 Ironman St. George 70.3, including lake swims, road biking, and trail running. This event is open to all levels of triathletes, with no requirement for race registration, making it a perfect preparation or learning opportunity.
The training weekend is free to all SLTC members, though we graciously accept donations to help cover the event's costs. Coaches willing to share their expertise are encouraged to reach out via [email protected].
Schedule for the 2025 Salt Lake Tri Club Training Weekend:
Friday, April 11, 2025
5 AM - 9 AM: Optional Individual Swim Sessions (On your own)
10 AM: Swim Start Orientation with Rory Duckworth, providing key insights into the St. George Ironman. Light breakfast snacks will be available.
11:00 AM: A 19-mile bike ride for an introductory look at the Ironman course, starting at Sand Hollow Reservoir.
5:00 PM: A 12-mile run exploring the Ironman St. George run course, meeting at T2.
Saturday, April 12, 2025
5 AM - 9 AM: Optional Individual Swim Sessions (On your own)
9 AM (Optional): Join the St. George Triathlon, enhancing our local triathlon community's spirit. To register, visit St. George Triathlon and use code slctriclub15 for 15% off.
1 PM: Bike Ride (20 - 60 miles) for an in-depth exploration of the Ironman St. George course.
6 PM: Club Social Dinner at Town Square Park (T2). Bring your favorite take-out meal for an enjoyable evening with fellow club members.
Participants are reminded to secure their accommodation and transportation well ahead of the weekend. Further details about the training weekend will be provided upon registration.
