Skyway Social returns on October 4, 2025, transforming the JTA Skyway into a multi-platform celebration of music, art, and culture. Produced by RTEAM and presented in collaboration with Downtown Vision as part of the PlacemakingJax initiative, this one-of-a-kind event brings a new dimension to Jacksonville’s urban core.Each of the three activated Skyway platforms—Kings Avenue Station, San Marco Station, and Central Station—will feature its own immersive experience. San Marco Station will spotlight live bands, while Kings Avenue and Central Stations will feature high-energy sets from local and regional DJs. Each platform will be uniquely designed and decorated to reflect the character of the space and amplify the overall vibe.
Skyway Social is more than an event—it’s a moving experience that highlights the power of placemaking. It celebrates the “sense of place”—the emotional and cultural connection we have with our city—by reimagining public transit as a stage for connection, creativity, and community.
