The Lunar New Year is an important Asian holiday that has been celebrated for thousands of years throughout the world, especially in Asia. 2025 marks the 15th annual San Diego Lunar New Year Festival. This three-day event will feature a vibrant array of folk and traditional performances, arts and cultural exhibitions, lion dances, firecrackers, and numerous family-friendly activities. A highlight of the festival will be the Cultural Village, which aims to recreate the traditional villager lifestyle of Southeastern Asia. Most importantly, this inclusive and festive event is open to the public and free of charge.
