Located in beautiful Door County, the Friends of Potawatomi State Park announce the stunning autumn run in beautiful Potawatomi State Park, Door County, WI. In 2025 we are celebrating 37 years of Run Wild.Family event with 5K, 10K, and Smokey the Bear Kids Fun Run with 1/3 mile distance. Take the challenge and run up tower hill in the newly featured 10K race. Both the 5K and 10K are run on tree-lined park roads with water and scenic views along the way; roads are closed to traffic in the historic Potawatomi State Park.
Park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until 11:00 a.m. All proceeds raised go to support the Friends of Potawatomi State Park projects in the park.
Awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each 10-year age division. RUN WILD shirts are always a special part of this event.
