The River Prairie Ginormous Pumpkin Festival is an exciting annual event held in Altoona, WI. This year's festival will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 8AM - 3:30PM at River Prairie Park, Altoona WI. What to expect:

Pet Costume Contest: Dress your pet up in their best pumpkin-themed costume and enter.
Apple Slingshot: Test your accuracy by launching apples at a floating target in River Prairie Pond.
Rubber Duck Race: Will your duck be the fastest down the stream?
Ginormous Pumpkin Drop: A giant pumpkin filled with candy will be dropped from mid-air, creating a fun spectacle and a serious sugar rush for the kids.
