The 5th annual Ride to Remember, for Alzheimer's research, sponsored and hosted by Team Sunshine, will take place on Saturday, June 21st. Cycle with us on the Valley Parkway or paved trail, any distance up to 60 miles, on out-and-back courses in the scenic Cleveland Metroparks. Check-in opens at 8:00, first riders off at 9:30 am. $20 registration fee goes toward your fundraising goal. Event Details: The event starts and finishes at North Quarry Picnic Area, just north of Wallace Lake in Berea, OH. Detailed routes will be provided for 8, 22, 30, 44 and 60 miles. The 8 and 22 are flat, 30 and 44 have 2 moderate climbs, and the 60-miler has 2 moderate climbs and 1 difficult climb.
Once you register here on alz.org, you will receive an email from us with a link to complete your registration and sign a waiver. All riders must complete the waiver to participate.
Other information:
Helmets are required. SAG and EMS will be available.
There are public restrooms at the start/finish and along the course.
Water stops and lunch will be provided to registered riders.
Extra parking on the east side of the parkway or across the N. Quarry Lane bridge.
NOTE: Please ignore any reference to the Classic event or August 16th.
