This year’s Summit focuses on celebrating what is working - the connections, actions and community-led initiatives already driving meaningful change.
Through presentations, local case studies, and interactive breakout sessions that provide tools for clarity, confidence, funding, and implementation, we will explore how communities are moving from conversation to action - and what it takes to turn passion into lasting impact.
In the lead-up to the Summit, GMCL has been travelling across the region as part of the Community Action Network (CAN) – supporting Resilience Canopy Training and hosting Insight Sessions across various towns in the region. These sessions, funded by FRRR, have captured lived experiences, identified strengths and challenges, and generated practical ideas for action. The insights gathered have directly informed the design of this year’s Summit, ensuring it reflects what matters most to our region.
