The Rat Traps

Do you wonder how local artists beautify rat traps? Should rat traps be beautified? All of these questions can be answered by attending the Rat City Gala + Gallery. Do not miss out on celebrating the 2025 Rat Trap Class by viewing their final rat trap pieces of art!

Rat Trap Artists as Vendors

Not only will we present our beautified Rat Traps, but also have many of our Rat Trap artists in attendance as vendors for further support.

Return of the Rat Wall

In addition to our Rat Traps, we will once again feature our Rat Wall of locally sourced sketches. These sketches will follow our theme of "The Future of Rat City" and will be available for purchase. All purchases from our Rat Wall will benefit our Emerging Artist Grant that supports local artists.

Awarding our Neighbors

The Rat City Gala & Gallery will also present the Mr. Rymkus Award celebrating a local neighbor who has focused on rat mitigation. The award is named after Mr. Rymkus, a local from Allston Brighton and the famous winner of Boston's1917 Rat Catching Competition, along with additional rat history.

Following the Mr. Rymkus Award will be our Artist Advocate Award that celebrates local neighbors who have championed causes in our artist community.

Light Food & Beverages Served

Food (In honor of Pizza Rat) and non-alcoholic beverages (served in flutes for classiness) will be served.
