2025 RAISING KINGS: MLK DAY OF SERVICE

Event Description:
Join us this Martin Luther King Jr. Day for a transformative day of service and unity as we honor Dr. King’s legacy through meaningful community action. The MLK Day of Service is an opportunity for individuals, families, schools, businesses, and faith-based organizations to come together and make a tangible impact in New Castle County.

Dr. King once said, “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” Let’s embody his spirit by working side-by-side to uplift and strengthen our communities.

What to Expect:

• Neighborhood Cleanups: Help beautify our Community Wellness Center by picking up trash and debris.
• Home Supplies Initiatives: Assemble and distribute supply packages for families.
• Paint Classrooms: Help us paint the walls in trims in our classrooms.
• Clothing and Coat Drives: Sort, organize, and distribute warm clothing and other essentials to local families in need.

Volunteer as a Team or Individual:
Whether you’re volunteering solo or representing a group, there’s a service project for everyone. Corporate teams, schools, and community groups are highly encouraged to participate.
