2025 will mark 15 years of Pūkaha’s much-loved annual fundraiser – the Pūkaha Wairarapa Garden Tour.This two-day, self-drive garden tour will feature beautiful and unique gardens in North Wairarapa.

Scenic Garden Trails
Wander through enchantingly designed gardens adorned with an abundance of native plants, exotic flowers, and captivating sculptures.
Meet the Gardeners
Gain insights from passionate gardeners who have nurtured these landscapes into works of art.
Exclusive Workshops
Make it a full weekend, add on a ticket to an evening with Lynda Hallinan or make beautiful floral arrangments at The Purple Dahlia with Pip Allard.
Pick your gardens and choose your route according to whatever tickles your gardening fancy. The tour offers at least a dozen private gardens (not usually open to the public) to choose from. Gardens are revealed in the lead-up to tour weekend.
Locally-sourced and home-made refreshments will be available in selected gardens and BYO picnics are welcome in some gardens. Look for the icons to guide you.

The event goes ahead rain or shine. As a fundraiser, monies raised go towards forest restoration at Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre.
Children are welcome. Please leave pets at home.
