This partnership is designed to help students explore careers and learn more about local businesses.
On Thursday, March 13, the Chamber will send more than 150 business volunteers into 4th-grade classrooms from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community and inspire young minds! For many students, this will be their first experience with a business volunteer in their classroom, and your presence will leave a lasting impact.

We provide the curriculum and materialsโyou bring your enthusiasm, experience, and 25 business cards. The session kicks off with an interactive "guessing game" where students will try to guess your job based on first impressions. This leads perfectly into a discussion about your career journey and the path that led you to where you are today. From there, you'll help students design a business card for their dream job. The session wraps up with a fun and inspiring time of sharing their creations.
Itโs easy, itโs fun, and youโll get just as much out of it as the kids! Youโll help shape their career aspirations while sharing the story of your job and the company you work for.
