**FREE COURSE PREVIEW TRAINING RUN**Hosted by Condors Endurance Training and New Global Adventures.
This will be an informal training run of the VALENCIA Trail Race 10K (orange loop) and Half Marathon (blue loop) course to help runners become familiar with trails and help train. Your choice on which course to run.
It is the perfect time to get out there to ramp up your training for the race. If you would like to attend, please join this event so we can plan accordingly.
WHEN: SUNDAY, MARCH 2, 2025
WHAT: Training run through 10K orange loop and Half Marathon blue loop course
TIME: 7:00 AM
WHERE: 29889 San Francisquito Canyon Road, park on the roadside shoulder.

What to prepare:
• Bring a runner water bottle or hydration pack
• GU gels or energy bars
• Trail running shoes (avoid road running shoes, you will need traction!)
• Study the course map to become familiar with it https://valenciatrailrace.com/course/
• We will provide post-run water and snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own
What to expect:
• Light flagging to help guide you through trail sections that have turns or forks. Note that you are responsible for knowing the course route, study the maps.
• Trail running and climbing up and down hills
• The big steep climbing sections will be walked
• Approximately 6 or 13 miles distance depending on which course you do
• Around 2-5 hours
• There is no support out on the trails, carry water and energy fuel such as gels or food.
• You are responsible for knowing how to get back to your car.
• Early preview of race swag
