The fundraiser focuses on mountain music, living history exhibits, original art and crafts handmade out of natural materials by the exhibitor.All day entertainment • 20+ vendor food menu • 24 craft categories • 145± artists • historical buildings and displays • kids’ train ride, petting zoo, pony ride, face painting. Demonstrations include blacksmithing, chainsaw carving, quilting, woodcarving.
This renowned arts and crafts show held in the atmosphere of an old-fashioned country fair is the primary fundraising event for Prater’s Mill Foundation, Inc. a 501C3 nonprofit, volunteer-based organization. All proceeds fund the Foundation’s mission to preserve, protect, and present the heritage of the Prater’s Mill Historic Site for future generations.
