This year’s Poor Man’s Supper holds something especially precious, welcoming back Aliya Enriquez, Metro Ministries’ very first Foster Sanctuary Graduate, returning nearly a decade later to share her powerful journey.
What began over thirty years ago as a humble tradition, a simple bread bowl and stew, has grown into a beloved community gathering. Guests still line up for their meal, just as our clients do every day, sharing in a moment of quiet dignity and profound connection.
We invite you to be part of this experience, not just to raise funds, but to remember why we gather: to see one another fully, to share a meal, and to honor the strength of those rebuilding their lives one step at a time.
