Start 2025 off right by joining us for our Polar Run 5k or 2.25 race and fun run. The Polar Run has been created as a key component in an overall effort to raise awareness throughout the tri-county area of the importance of being physically active. This 5k or 2.25 race or fun run/walk is being held in conjunction with the Polar Plunge hosted by Pottstown Parks & Recreation. No need to plunge (now in its 15th year) in order to run, but if you are crazy enough to do so, GO FOR IT! Sponsored by the Manatawny Athletic Club, whose sole mission is to help people of varying athletic and fitness levels engage in healthy lifestyles through fun, community oriented, judgement-free programming and events, the Polar Run promises to be a fun and uniquely-exhilarating way to kick off 2025! This event is co-hosted with the Borough of Pottstown Parks and Recreation.We will feature:
-Finisher medal for each in-person participant
-Surprise finisher gift for first 100 registered for in person race
-Family pricing for groups of more than 4
-Virtual races can be done anywhere!
-Portion of proceeds will benefit Borough of Pottstown Parks & Recreation Department
