https://claypittsburgh.org/september-2025-tour/On the weekend of September 20th-21st, from 11-5 each day, 24 unique ceramic studios located all throughout Pittsburgh will open their doors, inviting the public to see behind the scenes, learn about their creative processes, and shop for one-of-a-kind works of hand-crafted art.
With over 60 participating artists—from production potters to avant-garde sculptors, from seasoned professionals to talented hobbyists—the Pittsburgh Potters Tour is a celebration of all things clay in the Three Rivers region!
Many studios invite guest artists to join them, while some offer live demonstrations and hands-on activities. Visitors of all ages are invited to come learn, shop, and connect with our vibrant community of local artists!
This event is free! Registration via eventbrite is encouraged, but not required. The Potters Tour is self-guided—you are welcome to stop at as many studios as you like, in whatever order works best for you.
