Berks Lodge #47 and Mary Alice Temple # 108 are proud to have been selected to host the upcoming Pennsylvania State Association of the Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the World Annual Convention in Reading, PA from June 19th – 24th, 2025. The IBPOEW is one of the nation’s oldest African- American fraternal organizations which offers membership to a wide and culturally diverse group of men and women. We are pleased to announce that over 1000 Elk members, family and friends will flock to the City of Reading to share six (5) days of Brotherly and Sisterly Love at the Doubletree Hilton, 701 Penn Street and at our Lodge located at 237 Walnut Street in the heart of the African- American community. We can agree that an event this large will require a multitude of giving, resources and support as we prepare to accommodate so many people.
