Join us for the 2nd annual Duluth Peace Hero Award November 3, 2025!The Duluth Peace Hero Award is an annual cash prize given in recognition to a local community member who is “making a positive change” right where they live. Nominated by their peers, friends, or family for their effort and their impact, the winner of this award will be chosen by The Waging Peace Project and awarded a cash prize of $1,000.
Nominations are open to anyone and are unlimited. From Teenagers to Elders, we are asking people to recognize someone making a positive change in their family, neighborhood, workspace, or civic life. Could be a postman, a young person in their neighborhood, or an elder who makes your congregation great!
