About this Event
In line with OHA’s expressed goal to further develop a recovery system that ensures all individuals have a strong voice in their journey, Changing Patterns will host an event to identify gaps in the re-entry process that harm the recovery system.
This event will provide the opportunity for people with lived experience and community-based organization leaders to share the valuable recovery tools they’ve developed through their re-entry process and current risk areas needing improvement.
The objective is to provide a toolkit / technical assistance to OHA staff and share ideas on how to prepare returning citizens for success upon re-entry to the community.
-Developing a toolkit, or technical assistance guide for OHA staff to be better prepared and effective when working with justice-involved individuals
-Improving statewide communication network of organizations working in the re-entry field
-Increasing the opportunity for statewide collaboration on projects which could include grant funding
-By convening these events and capturing shared insights, we aim to foster a more inclusive, responsive, and effective behavioral health system that meets the diverse needs of individuals with lived experience and supports successful reintegration into society.
