Join Newnan-Coweta History Center to stroll at dusk through Newnan's Historic Oak Hill Cemetery on a guided walk of select gravesites. Storytellers and guides captivate guests with lively, engaging tales while vendors, musicians, and artists also contribute to this special event that celebrates living, history and the arts.
The 2025 Oak Hill Cemetery Tour is being planned for Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 25 with tour times starting at 5:00 p.m. New tours head out every 20 minutes until the last scheduled tour at 8:00 p.m. Tour Oak Hill Cemetery at dusk with skilled guides in character who take you through to visit some of those who've come before us. Also, take in the museum tour featuring performers and festive decor. Enjoy live entertainment and OINK JOINT BBQ FOOD TRUCK in the back garden of the museum– it’s included with the ticket.
Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes! Questions? Call the museum at 770-251-0207. TICKETS will remain on sale until the day of the event or until the event sales out. $65 Adults, $30 Children under 12, $135 VIP ticket that also includes the Ghosts & Ghouls Ball on Friday 10/24, 7 p.m.
Check in for the event at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum, 74 Jackson St., Newnan. Ample parking behind 27 Clark St. or University of West Ga. Each ticket includes a trip through the BBQ buffet complete with BBQ pork/chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, tea, etc. Tours not recommended for children under 6. Note: Tickets for children may be purchased and used to accompany an adult for any tour time.
NOTE: There are two tour dates. Fri. 10/17 and Sat. 10/25. Please make sure you are purchasing a ticket for your desired date and time!
This is a rain or shine event. In case of severe inclement weather, an alternate date will be announced.
Park off of Clark Street in the lot behind the museum. Check-in is near the white gazebo.
