The PNSW Slalom Committee are pleased to hold the 2025 NSW State Slalom Championships at Penrith Whitewater Stadium. The venue hasn't been used for the State Champs the last few years in favour of using courses that have easier water and encourage participation from beginner slalom paddlers (future champions!).
This year, in conjunction with PWS, we are excited to be trialing a modified two pump configuration which we hope will encourage participation from beginner slalom racers while still maintaining a competitive course for our best paddlers.
There will also be opportunities to train on the course at 4 or 5 pumps on the weekend.
More details and a link to entries will follow closer to the date.
As well as individual slalom classes, the event will also include teams, C2 and kayak cross. The event is also a Hub Series ranking event.
