2025 North Star Annual Conference

North Star’s mission is to be a faith affirming resource for Latter-day Saints navigating sexual orientation and gender identity who desire to live in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the doctrine and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The 2025 North Star Annual Conference is an invaluable resource for individuals who experience same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria and wish to live a Christ-centered life full of peace and joy. This conference is also a resource for family members, friends and Church leaders who wish to gain understanding and desire to support those who experience same-sex attraction or gender incongruence. Listen to keynote addresses, musical performances, and breakout sessions featuring church leaders, scholars, therapists, and entertainers from the Christian community. Additionally, we offer the ability to purchase conference recordings.

General Session Keynote Speakers

General sessions feature keynote speakers, including respected leaders within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints community, with relevant topics centered on the conference theme, Lord, I Will Follow Thee.

Conference Breakouts

Breakout sessions on issues relevant to each demographic group:

• Parents, Family and Friends
• Ecclesiastical Leaders

Breakout sessions are focused on providing tools and resources which enable individuals to cultivate inner peace, support loved ones, and live an authentic, gospel-centered life. Individuals are welcome to attend any breakout session.

Everyone is invited to attend these special events, whether or not you have registered for the conference.

Conference Opening Social

Join us for our Thursday night opening social, on February 27, 2025 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. We are excited that The Turtle Shelter Project will join us again this year as our service project. Suicide Prevention Workshop

In conjunction with the Conference, North Star will be hosting a free Suicide Prevention workshop on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3:00-5:00pm, at 4917 South Viewmont Street (2085 E.), Holladay, UT, 84117.

Conference First TImer Session
