Mark Your calendars now for the 2025 Norman Mardi Gras Parade!Norman's first night parade has used the same route for most of the last 30 years, but the day changes every year. Why? Moveable feasts!
Norman’s Mardi Gras Parade is always the Saturday before Mardi Gras, which is a moveable feast. That's a celebration whose date changes each year. Mardi Gras (aka Fat Tuesday) is the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, which is 47 days before Easter, which is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
So plan to join us downtown next year for a celebration of art and community, whether as a participant, sponsor, member of the crowd or all of the above!
