Join fellow students, design professionals and expert speakers for a half-day of virtual learning and networking. Our annual Student Design Symposium has been developed to support and serve current students in interior design and architecture programs across the NKBA network.
The agenda will start with a keynote by Nureed Saeed - 2023 KBB Person of the Year, an award winning designer, and the owner and creative director of Nu Interiors, a full service interior design company specializing in kitchen and bathroom renovations, servicing California and New Jersey. After only 4 years, Nu Interiors was named one of Lux Pad’s top 15 Interior Designers in New Jersey. Prior to starting her design firm, Nureed spent over 15 years in the fashion industry in buying, product management, licensing and brand management, working for notable designers like Ralph Lauren and Kenneth Cole.
Following the keynote, the program will offer two breakout sessions with various topics to choose from.
