Greetings!
Please join us for the New York City All-Day Singing on Saturday, September 20th, 2025! We sing at 10am and end at 3:30pm with a break for dinner on the grounds.
***We will be singing from the highly anticipated upcoming new 2025 revision of the beloved Sacred Harp.***
All are welcome to attend, participate, and/or observe, no singing experience needed! Loaner books will be available to those who have not yet purchased the newly released (as of 9/13/25) book. However, revised books will also be available for purchase at the singing.
Dinner on the Grounds:
This year we will be singing in a space without kitchen access so we would kindly ask that all items be prepared without the need for re-heating or refridgeration, otherwise we recommend such items be transported in portable coolers or in electric Crock Pots which can be plugged in.
Transportation:
The singing will be very accessible by public transit with both street and paid parking available nearby. Please feel free to reach out below with any questions regarding directions or transportation!
Housing:
Housing is available for anyone pleased to stay with local singers. We would be glad to host as many of our travelers as we can so please plan with us as soon as possible! Information on local hotels is also available! We would love to help you out in your pursuit to attend! Please contact our housing chair, Christine Pan via email [email protected] for such assistance!
Social:
There will be a social after the singing with details forthcoming. We expect to have a place to dance and also for our friends who play instruments to gather and play together as well.
Accessibility:
Our venue is wheelchair accessible.
Health & Safety:
We ask that everyone please take a Covid test before your arrival. Some extra tests will be available at the registration table. If you find yourself feeling unwell on the day of the singing, please let us know so that we can add you to our sick and shut in list.
Sunday:
Additionally, on Sunday, September 21st, there will be a very special singing school taught by one of the members of the revision committee, and former fellow New Yorker, Lauren Bock. Location and time to be announced soon!
