About this Event
The 2024 NCVA President's Day Recruiting Combine, in partnership with the NCVA President's Day tournament, will be held on February 14th, from 8:00 to 9:30 p. at the Capital Sports Center in McClellan Park (Sacramento), CA and is open to any 8th grade and high school age player (FEMALE ONLY), regardless if they are participating in the NCVA President's Day tournament or not.
The NCVA President's Day Recruiting Combine is a College Coach attended and VIDEO Combine!
- Because there are a number of large President's Day tournaments across the country, we will film the Combine.
- The Combine film will be sent to every college volleyball program in CA/OR/WA/NV/AZ.
- College coaches will be invited to attend from NCAA DI/DII/DII-NAIA-Junior College region schools
- All players and drills will be filmed.
The Player's name will be on a registered list at the Combine check in table; each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information on the video. Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).
Each court will have a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills. The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.
Parents are not allowed in the gym during the combine - This allows the players to focus on skills and the camera to focus on players for collegiate evaluations.
