The morning begins with William Selde’s session on Informed Refusal, followed by Joseph Katora’s discussion of Lessons Learned from Ukraine, offering real-world insights from modern conflict medicine. Peter Antsy will close the lecture series with a focus on Pediatrics, addressing unique challenges in caring for younger patients. After lunch, participants will rotate through interactive skills stations, including Handtevy pediatric resuscitation, advanced airway management with I-Gel and video laryngoscopy using the Sellick maneuver, and practical techniques for impaled object stabilization and junctional bleeding control.
