2025 Navy Region SouthEast EMS Conference - Day 2
Day 2 of the 2025 Navy Region Southeast EMS Conference continues with an engaging lineup of lectures and hands-on training designed to enhance critical pre-hospital skills. The morning begins with William Seldeβs session on Informed Refusal, followed by Joseph Katoraβs discussion of Lessons Learned from Ukraine, offering real-world insights from modern conflict medicine. Peter Antsy will close the lecture series with a focus on Pediatrics, addressing unique challenges in caring for younger patients. After lunch, participants will rotate through interactive skills stations, including Handtevy pediatric resuscitation, advanced airway management with I-Gel and video laryngoscopy using the Sellick maneuver, and practical techniques for impaled object stabilization and junctional bleeding control. Day 2 emphasizes both knowledge and practice, ensuring attendees gain valuable expertise applicable across diverse emergency scenarios.
