The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership is proud to present the 2025 Nancy P. and Thaddeus E. Paup Lecture, “Leading Through Turbulence: Create Your Flight Plan for Success,” featuring Amelia Rose Earhart—around-the-world pilot, speaker, and advocate for women in aviation.
Join us Tuesday, October 14, from 7–8 PM in the Southwest Ballroom of TWU’s Student Union in Hubbard Hall for this free, in-person event, followed by a Q&A session moderated by 2025 Paup Lecture Series Ambassador Tammie Jo Shults. A video of this lecture will be made available after the event.
Amelia Rose Earhart knows what it means to venture into uncharted territory, with courage and confidence. Named after the legendary aviator, Amelia honored her namesake by piloting a single-engine aircraft 28,000 nautical miles around the globe. Along the way, she raised nearly $2 million in corporate sponsorships, balanced a full-time career as a TV helicopter reporter, and founded the Fly With Amelia Foundation to support young women pursuing aviation.
