The President’s Community Engagement Award celebrates outstanding community-academic partnerships, community-engaged research and impactful community outreach initiatives of MCW faculty, staff, students and community partners. Join us over a complimentary lunch to honor this year’s awardees and learn about their remarkable work.

Please join John R. Raymond, Sr., MD, president and CEO of MCW, and Staci Young, PhD, senior associate dean for community engagement, in recognizing these outstanding individuals and teams for their exceptional commitment to community engagement.

The Office of Community Engagement is coordinating its third annual donation drive. During the month of May, the Community Engagement Donation Drive will collect baby items to be donated to Missionary Currie for Women and Children, a nonprofit organization that provides compassionate support to families in need. Missionary Currie for Women and Children’s mission is to empower parents with knowledge, skills, and spiritual guidance they need to create nurturing, prosperous, and faith-centered families.

Here are ways you can donate during the month of May:

• From May 5–30, bring your donations to one of the boxes located around the MCW-Milwaukee campus or ThriveOn King (2153 N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53212).
• On May 8, bring your donation when you attend the Community Engagement Conference at ThriveOn King. Please note, conference registration is required.
• On May 9, bring your donation when you attend the President’s Community Engagement Award Luncheon at the MCW-Milwaukee campus. Please note, award ceremony registration is required.
