Join the 2025 Maker Week Competition — As a Competitor or Audience Member!
Want to showcase your Maker Week project and compete for prizes? Enter the 2025 Maker Week Competition to present your creative work through slides, websites, or other digital formats. Highlight your data, materials, code, documentation, and other project artifacts for a chance to win.
Prefer to cheer on your fellow makers? RSVP here on Eventbrite to attend the competition as an audience member!

How to Enter the Competition:
Fill out our Google Form to submit your project and view the competition rubrics.
Still working on your project? You can still submit to our Google Form with your project idea. When your project is finished, email our Digital Scholarship Librarian at [email protected] with your finished project. All projects need to be submitted by May 2.
Finalists will be announced on May 5.
Prizes:
- First Place: Maker Kit
- Second Place: Screwdriver Kit
- Third Place: Sewing Kit
- Participation Prize: UCR Library Merchandise
All UCR community members are welcome to attend. Make sure to register with your UCR email. Participants are expected to follow and uphold UC Riverside's Principles of Community.
