Officer Daniel Vasquez was killed in the line of duty on 7/19/2022. Danny was doing what he loved which was serving his community as a police officer for the NKC police department.We have put together this ruck to honor Danny. This ruck is open to the public, but be prepared for a 3.1 mile hike through North Kansas City. We will meet at Macken park at 0800hrs sharp.

⭐️Finish at Macken Park⭐️
We will stay in the sidewalk as much as we can. Go at your own pace and stop at the red lights until you get the go ahead 🚶🏻
We will start and finish at the park because there is a lot more parking.
-This ruck is first responder focused to honor Danny.
-We encourage anything that will represent Danny such as shirts and blue line flags!
-Please use this ruck as a time to reflect.
-Please use this time to share with others how Danny has impacted your life.
-Feel free to wear a weighted vest or sandbags to make this more challenging. Keep in mind it will be hot outside.
-Be smart and bring your own water and snacks.
- BE RESPECTFUL. Do not block the street. Wait at lights until pedestrians are allowed to cross the street. Do not litter. This should all go without saying, but again be respectful. We don’t want to give ourselves a bad name.
