Take 2...I've played enough golf with the CT Hackers to know that trees always happen to get in the way of some really mediocre golf. And now we're playing a club called "Tallwood!!!" What in the world!!?? Well, now on September 10, 2025, work your way around those pesky obstacles or find a way to go through 'em (they are 90% air!) as we take to the beautifully manicured Tallwood CC for the 2025 CT Hackers Lumberjack Challenge, sponsored by Hamster Cage Wood Shavings.
This will be a net stroke play event with tee times beginning at 9:00a. Cost will be $67 ($58 for seniors) for 18 holes and cart. There will be a separate $5 CASH entry paid to the Club Chair prior to play that will be used for prizes. Play will be from the white tees for all unless there is a request to play from a different set of tees and USGA rules will govern all play (unless local rules are in place). Please RSVP on/before September 7 if you would like to compete in this prestigious event.
