About this Event
In keeping with tradition, chapters of The Arc across Maryland will unite in Annapolis on the second day of session to raise awareness and advocate for the rights and well-being of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Join us at Lawyers Mall at 9:30 AM, grab some coffee, pastries, and calendars for your representatives, and then head to the legislative buildings for distribution.
This special calendar contains stories of the impact of The Arc across the state, highlighting people with IDD and their families, and our workforce. The calendar also contains holidays. special chapter events, legislative events, and legislators' birthdays!
This is your opportunity to kick off Maryland's Legislative Session with strong advocacy! Please register to receive communications about the event. Please also reach out to your local chapter's public policy and governmental affairs committees to coordinate meetings with representatives.
After signing up to attend, please plan ahead for parking. Some garages close to the State House are Gott's Court and Noah Hillman.
Adults must bring a valid state-issued ID to enter the State House and Legislative Buildings.
