It’s Lawrence Mardi Gras Parade time! We can’t wait to take a joyful, noisy stroll down Massachusetts Street with y’all.
Fat Tuesday once again begins and ends at Larryville’s Mardi Gras epicenter: TerreBonne. They’ll be slinging beignets, cocktails and the best Cajun/Creole vittles in the Midwest all day long. Around noon, meet us at Lucia where we’ll kick things off in style. We’ll saunter merrily down the main drag and pop into and take over several local establishments. We'll play a couple tunes at The Free State Brewing Company and then head back down to TerreBonne to party.
Fat Saturday happens at Lucia on Saturday, March 1st. Lawrence legends SUNU will provide the grooves, the River City Brass Band will mix in some funky noise and TerreBonne will be providing the Nawlins-style nourishment. Doors open at 7 and the show commences at 8. Come get some!
So ask off of work, fake an illness, take a road trip – just do what you gotta do to join us. If you’re a musician and want to get to know the tunes before the parade, shoot us a message.
