I hope this finds you well and excited for a great Alumni Weekend this year! As always, this is Labor Day Weekend (Aug 29-31). The goal of this weekend is to come together as a group to cherish memories made from being a part of this organization, support the current team in being the best it can be on and off the field, and ultimately leave the jersey better than what we found it by the end of the weekend and into the future.
Here is your Itinerary:
FRI 30AUG Chalk Talk
- 7:00PM to whenever: chalk talk and Auntie Mae's per usual
SAT 30AUG : Alumni Match and Social
We are back at Memorial Stadium this year! Pitch Address: WWI Memorial Stadium 704 Denison Ave, Manhattan, KS 66506
- 11:00 AM - College side warmup
11:30-12: Alumni warmup touch (for those wanting to run but not go full contact)
- This will be done kind of on your own here as I will be busy warming up the college side.
- 12pm-2ish: Alumni Game, format will be similar to last year with 20 or so minutes of a 1st collegiate side vs 1st alumni side and then we will split into mixed alumni and college sides and play as long as we want (thought this worked well last year to maximize minutes for everyone, get to know some current guys and give alums an opportunity to teach and pass their experience onto new/current players)
- 2:30-5: Social TBD Location. I hope to have EVERYONE there for fun and bonding time before splitting off. We hope to provide a space big enough to host everyone, be able to get everyone out of the heat, and enjoy some fellowship all together.
SUN 31AUG Alumni Farewell Brunch

Team Store/Ways to Donate:
- Last but not least, please donate back to the club! Every bit helps and goes towards travel funds, planning for nationals trips, water/tape/gameday essentials, and our club needs throughout the year. It takes a village! We are working on getting a financial statement put together so everyone knows what it takes to run the club, send the team to things like nationals, etc.
- Below is a link you can use to directly donate to the Alumni Foundation and the team, buy last and this year's alumni t-shirt, and purchase our old camo jerseys while they last! We also have new replica jerseys and training tees available, part of which goes back to the club. (Big thank you to Tim Harrold for setting this up!)
