The City of Twentynine Palms is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of the Joshua Tree 55, set for Saturday, February 1, 2025. After a one-year hiatus to coordinate with the staff at Joshua Tree National Park, this scenic ride is back and better than ever, promising an unforgettable experience for cycling enthusiasts of all levels.This year, the Joshua Tree 55 is going back to its roots, offering the original 55-mile route. Riders will embark on a breathtaking journey from Knott’s Sky Park in Twentynine Palms to the spectacular Keys View in Joshua Tree National Park and back. With only 400 participant slots available, this challenging ride is sure to fill up quickly. Don’t miss your chance to experience stunning vistas and the unparalleled beauty of one of California’s most iconic landscapes.
This year, there is a new safety initiative as per Joshua Tree National Park staff: All riders are required to wear Class 2 safety vests while within the park. This measure ensures a safer experience as participants navigate through JTNP.
Registration is open through January 20, 2025 for $75 per rider. This includes entry into JTNP, a safety vest, swag bag, entry into the opportunity drawing, and meal at the end of the ride.
