On 4th October 2025, Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do International will host its first US Championships at CCBC Essex in Maryland. The purpose of the Tournament is to bring together budo-ka from Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do Americas, my budo friends from the USA, and WMAC competitors from Australia.
The tournament will have divisions in kata, weapons, and breaking. We will also have events in 5 different types of sparring, including shadow sparring, points, freestyle, semi-contact, and full-contact.
Some of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society (in memory of Shihan Barry Williams), and NAMI Baltimore (in memory of Senpai Rory Byrnes).
