2025 Tail of the Dragon Rally
Saturday May 3rd 2025. Join fellow F-Type owners for our 7th Annual Tail of the Dragon Rally.
Saturday May 3rd marks the 7th Annual F-Type Forever Car Club’s Tail of the Dragon weekend. While catered to Jaguar F-Type owners it is open to any other makes and models that may be interested in participating.
This is a multi-day event with Tail of the Dragon being on Saturday for the day-trippers or those on a limited schedule. For those who have more time in your schedule join us in Knoxville first! We will depart Friday morning from Knoxville where we will explore some less-traveled twists and turns on our way to Tapoco Lodge in Robbinsville. Sunday morning, we will gather at the Fontana Dam for photos before departing for a morning drive wrapping up with lunch at a local establishment. We are finalizing agenda and details. Full maps and itinerary will be provided to all registered participants via email.
If you are traveling from outside of the area we recommend staying at Tapoco Lodge. They are holding a small block of rooms for our group (please access the booking link on our website). Alternate accommodations are available in Robbinsville NC. While local cabin rentals are plentiful be aware that not all provide a paved drive or covered parking.
We have some amazing roads to drive and views to see along the way. Saturday’s trip is expected to be just over 100 miles long including multiple runs up and down the Tail.
There is no registration fee for this event. Registration is required as it allows us to effectively plan and adequately prepare each location for the anticipated number of visitors.
One registration per car. Please do not register your passenger separately. There is a space on the registration form for passenger name. If you are bringing more than one VEHICLE please register for each car so that we may provide an accurate count to our locations to verify parking availability. If you have a passenger please provide their name on your registration form as that will help us give an accurate count for lunch. We will use the email address provided at registration for all event communications. Be sure to check your junk folder.
All meals and expenses are on your own dime. Drives take place on public roads so drive sensibly and at your own risk. By participating in this event you assume full responsibility for any damage to property or injury.
