Join us for the first Chaffee County Economic Development Corporations Insights Event of 2025. The topic will be a Chaffee County Economic Update, an event bringing together community leaders, elected officials and business leaders to gain Insights into our local, regional and national economy. This session provides a platform to understand the factors influencing our economy while exploring opportunities for economic and community vitality.

While offering thought provoking content from an economic expert, this event will provide engaging discussion that will delve into emerging industries, economic trends and shifting demographics - empowering attendees to make data informed decisions to shape their businesses and our local economy.

The keynote speaker will be Richard Wobbekind, Associate Dean for Business & Government Relations, Senior Economist and Faculty Director of the Business Research Division at the University of Colorado Boulder. Rich is the past president of the National Association for Business Economics, he participates annually in the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank Regional Economic Roundtable and is a contributor to the Western Blue Chip forecast newsletter and the National Association of Business Economists Economic Outlook.
