The Homeless Cat Management Team (HCMT) is a Pittsburgh area based, non-profit cat spay/neuter organization that does great work supporting Pittsburgh's cat community! HCMT has been fixing and vaccinating cats since 1998 through twice monthly clinics. On average 1,600 cats are fixed every year. We have fixed more than 32,000 cats to date! Over half of the cats and kittens are fixed at no cost to their caretakers/owners at our high volume/high quality spay/neuter clinics. The others are fixed at very low cost. We could not do this work without YOU!
Our sister organization Pittsburgh C.A.T. is the foster based adoption arm of HCMT. Friendly cats and kittens are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, combo tested, and microchipped prior to adoption. Dedicated volunteers screen adoptions and help place cats into loving homes. On average, Pittsburgh C.A.T. and HCMT adopts out 400 cats and kittens each year.
