The Ypsilanti Community Choir is excited to present its Holiday Concert: Lighting the Holidays with Song. Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 7:30 pm at Towsley Auditorium, on the campus of Washtenaw Community College, 4800 East Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor, MI. Selections include: The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth, We Need A Little Christmas, Sweet Silent Night, Antiphonal Deck the Halls, and featuring The Alfred Burt Carols: Caroling, Caroling, All On A Christmas Morning, We’ll Dress the House and more. Alfred Burt (1920-1954) was born in Marquette, Michigan and graduated from The University of Michigan with a degree in Music Theory. He is best known for composing the music for fifteen Christmas carols between 1942 and 1954.
The choir is led by director Ariel Toews-Ricotta and accompanied by Maria Cimarelli. Our concert host is Linda Yohn from WRCJ in Detroit, and is sponsored by Horizons Planning Corporation. Free to attend.
